The role of human-animal relationships in my work has led me to observe 16th- and 17th-century still life paintings. In these paintings the accumulation of items provides discussion on how humans interact with nature regarding arrangement, triumphing over the ownership of things. I create my work in terms of various expressions of power and the manipulation of objects. Emphasizing the hierarchical distinction between the human and the animal, I am testing if indiscernibility can exist between us and them.
