This body of work is about my interest in the impracticalities of creative thought. The works began with capturing the physics found in cartoons, then evolved and became a take on surrealist humor. Through these pieces, viewers question the logistics of functionality. By nature, people are visual beings. We rely on our eyes and logic to make sense of the world we live in. With my works, I break the connection to logic and force the viewer to see a world in which the laws of physics do not apply, and creatures seem to morph from everyday objects.
