The investigation of an object through touch is integral to how we know and understand it. We learn to use touch early in our development through toys, an avenue of tools for these intrinsic forms of understanding. Toys are essential for the development of play, which helps to guide our development of social skills, emotional intelligence and cognitive reasoning. I employ the language of toys through process and touch to provide me with a natural comprehension of how we know and learn and ultimately how we become who we are.
